Three handmade cards were created with a monotype printing process. I gathered these scrub oak leaves on a trail in the Pecos Wilderness while walking with my wife Denise. Fallen dry leaves, meadows full of blooming wildflowers, gathering storm clouds, butterflies and bees, Holy Ghost creek flowing clear and gentle, grouse in the grass, ferns hugging the stream edge, and lightning flashes in the distance filled our sense on this hike. Rain fell cool and gentle on the hike back to the car, filling the air with the smell of wet pine.
